Privacy

• A salted hash of your IP address — so the free tier can count how many messages you have sent today. It is a one-way hash with a secret salt; we cannot reverse it to an IP, and the row is meaningless after the day it covers.
• A salted hash of your access key — if you pay, so we can tell a valid key from an invalid one. We cannot reconstruct your key from it.
• A Stripe subscription id — so that cancelling your payment also ends your access.
• A salted hash of your Clerk user id — only if you choose to sign in with Clerk. It is attached to the key that holds your credits so another device can reach the same balance. We never store the id itself.

• Your conversations. They live in your browser, and nowhere else.
• Your name or a password. There is no password anywhere, and an account is optional. Stripe collects an email for your receipt if you buy credits, and we keep a salted hash of it so a lost key can be recovered — never the address itself.
• Any profile, usage history, or record of which models you use.
• One advertising cookie, set by TikTok. We run the TikTok pixel so that TikTok can tell which visitors went on to pay, and show the ads to more people like them. It is first-party, it carries no identity, and we never send TikTok an email, a name or a message. It is the only advertising cookie on the site — we sell nothing to anyone, and no other network can see you here. A tracker blocker stops it and the rest of the site works the same. Clerk also sets its own first-party cookies while you are signed in with it.

We use two measurement tools. Microsoft Clarity shows us which pages people land on and where they get stuck. Your conversation is masked out of it: the message area and the box you type into are excluded from recording, so the questions you ask and the answers you get are not captured. TikTok’s pixel reports aggregate counts — a page view, a checkout started, a payment completed — and nothing else; it never receives your message text, your email or your key. Both set their own cookies. If you would rather not be counted at all, a tracker blocker stops them and the site works exactly the same.

Clearing your browser’s site data deletes your chat history permanently. We hold no copy to restore it from, which is the point.

Your message text is sent to Venice AI, the model provider, to generate a reply. Venice states that it does not retain prompts. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policy, and we do not control it. Models in the “Encrypted” group use end-to-end encrypted inference, where the provider cannot read the request either — those are the strongest option available here.

Our other processors are Vercel (hosting; standard server logs including IP addresses, retained briefly), Convex (the hashes above), Stripe (payments — they collect your card and email; we never receive either), Clerk (sign-in — if you choose to use it, Clerk holds your email or social login and sets its own cookies; skip it and Clerk never sees you), and TikTok (advertising measurement — it receives that a page was viewed, a checkout was started or a payment completed, and sets the cookie described in section 02; it never receives your message text or your email).

Free-tier hashes are keyed to a calendar day and have no value beyond it. Access-key hashes live as long as the subscription they unlock, plus a short period afterwards for billing disputes. There is nothing else to retain.

Under GDPR and similar regimes you may request access to, or deletion of, personal data we hold about you. In practice we hold almost none, and what we do hold is not linkable to you without the key or IP you would have to supply. Write to privacy@uncensormyai.com and we will do what we can.
