- Is this really uncensored?
- We run open-weight models with the provider's house system prompt switched off, and we add nothing of our own. What you get is the raw model. It will still occasionally decline something on its own — that behaviour is baked into the weights and nobody can strip it out entirely — but the layer of corporate refusal sitting on top of every mainstream assistant is simply not here.
- Do you keep my conversations?
- No. Chats live in your browser and are never written to our database. What we do hold are hashes: a salted hash of your IP so the free tier can count, a hash of your access key so a balance can be recognised, and — only if you subscribe — a hash of the email Stripe collected and of your Stripe customer id. None of them can be turned back into you.
- Do I need an account?
- No. The free tier needs nothing at all, and subscribing gets you a key — a long random string you paste into the app. That key holds your balance. Signing in is optional and exists for one reason: to reach the same balance from another device, either with a six-digit code sent to your email or with Clerk. There is still no profile and nothing to verify.
- Why are Claude and GPT not in the model list?
- Because they would refuse you, and we would be lying. The models here are the ones that genuinely answer. Venice supplies nearly all of them from its uncensored open-weight catalogue. The one exception is DeepSeek, which carries its own refusals — so for that model, and only that model, we do inject a system prompt, because there is no switch on DeepSeek's side to turn its refusals off. No Venice answer is ever affected by it.
- What won't it do?
- We draw one line, and it is the line the law draws: nothing involving minors, and nothing that is a crime to produce or possess. That is not a guardrail on the model's opinions — it is the condition of this site continuing to exist. Everything short of it is fair game.
- Is there a subscription?
- Yes — a monthly one. There are three plans: five dollars a month for a hundred credits, up to forty a month for a thousand. Your credits reset at the start of every billing period, so unused ones do not carry over — the balance refills to your plan each month.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, in two clicks, without emailing or phoning anyone. There is no account to log into, so the manage page takes the email you subscribed with and sends you a link to Stripe's own billing page, where you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge; the credits for the period you already paid for stay usable until they run out.
- What does an answer cost?
- Between one and ten credits, depending on which model you pick, and the price is shown against every model before you spend anything. The cheaper models are the fast ones; the dearest reason before they answer and take longer. The five-dollar plan is a hundred credits a month.
